Our Patios can transform your garden, increasing your indoor space into an outdoor living  area  with the correct use of materials and  design, from old world cottage through to modern contemporary materials.

A patio is a place to relax and/or a place to entertain - some examples can be seen in the Photo Gallery illustrating the use of charcoal tumbled blocks set against a flint wall /trellis to form a path in the correct colours/effect for the period of the property. You can also view the use of Indian Sandstone incorporating stock brick edging and circle trims to bring together the brick walls and brick paver pathway as one with the minimum of different products.

Our slab patios are laid on a 100mm concrete sub-base and the slabs are fully mortar- bedded onto this and the joints are applied wet and trowelled to the decided style. Other styles of patio can be laid on different sub-bases, e.g. block paving. These days there is a huge range of textures, colours and shapes to choose from. Alternatively, using a combination of slabs and blocks is very effective and can now be used with a polymer sand for block paving,which seals the joints and virtually eliminates weeds while remaining flexible.
